A lot of my Insomnia Doodles are done digitally on my tablet, but every now and then I go old school and bust out paper and pen (and on rare occasions I’ll use a pencil). Here’s a character that came to me at around 2am the other day. I couldn’t sleep, and my mind was racing, thinking about how the lack of accountability and honesty on the part of other people can impact our lives. I thought to myself, “It’s like other people’s shit is a monster that can attack at any time.” And that’s when this character appeared in my mind — a monster that represents the nonsense, dishonesty, and bullshit of other people.
I then did some more doodles of this particular monster…
And finally, I did a digital drawing on my tablet…
I still don’t have a name for this character. Here are some potential names…
Turdemon (or Turddemon)
Dookie Demon,
Dookie Devil
Phart Phantom
Crappa-Dappa-Doo-Doo
MonDookie
