Robert did the art for some of my favorite movie posters,including Detroit 9000, Battle for the Planet of the Apes, and Hell Up in Harlem. I’ve created and co-created a lot of characters, but The Monster of Blackenstyne (not to be confused with Blackenstein) is one of my all-time favorites. The Monster of Blackenstyne (not to be confused with Blackenstein) is a short story that was done for an anthology called Shook (published by Dark Horse). I essentially did this story as a proof-of-concept, to see if the basic narrative worked. I’m currently working on a one-shot comic that will expand the story, and make you all fall in love with the Monster of Blackenstyne (not to be confused with Blackenstein).
